Team Kiersten will again run the ABC7 Jim Gibbons 5K Run/3K Walk in Chicago on Thursday, June 15, 2019, at 6:25 pm, in Grant Park, Chicago. The run raises money for the Leukemia Research Foundation to help search for a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myelomas, and all blood cancers. Our personal stake in this is in memory of our Kiersten, who passed away in 2012, at the age of 13 from acute myeloid leukemia. I am asking all our family and friends to please consider running or donating to our team to raise money towards our goal of $5,000 for leukemia research. We have been one of the top fundraising teams in the past, and we would love to again beat our goal again this year! If you can't run the 5K, there is a 3K walk as well!
